The California Chamber of Commerce, representing over 15,000 members, is California's largest business advocate actively engaged in the implementation of climate policy in California. Climate change is recognized as one of the most pressing issues today and has become a concern for lawmakers, environmentalists, and businesses across the globe. With the passage of the landmark legislation AB 32, California has distinguished itself as the only state that caps carbon.  CalChamber is dedicated to advocating for policies that will effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining a strong economy and business climate in California. We believe that to be a global leader in climate change, we must promote policy approaches that recognize and encourage California’s leadership in the environmental arena while harnessing the innovation and creativity of its citizens to pioneer new, low-carbon technologies. Our mission is to educate California businesses on current climate regulations and be an active voice in the implementation process. We have created this website for our membership and the public to serve as an information clearinghouse and as a means to keep up with the comings and goings of the climate world.
