California Air Resources Board - AB 32 handed the task of implementing California's greenhouse gas reduction goals to the California Air Resources Board.  Like other regulatory proceedings, implementation of AB 32 entails numerous workshops and public hearings.  The CalChamber is actively engaged in this process.  For access to our comments on these regulations please click here.

Public Utilities Commission - The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) is playing a key role in developing the cap for the electricity sector.  Although the commission in working with CARB under the umbrella of AB 32, it is also engaged in a number of workshops and rulemaking processes.  For CalChamber analysis and  more information on these proceedings please click here.

Climate Change Legislation - In the wake of the passage of AB 32 last year and the Governor's approval of the measure, many legislators have introduced their own global warming-related bills this year.  You can refer to this document for a list of relevant climate change legislation currently being considered by the Legislature.
