Implementation
of AB 32 is going to involve frequent
hearings, workshops and meetings at the
Air Resources Board and various other
state agencies. The Legislature will be
busy as well - newly introduced climate
change bills must now make their way
through the legislative process and
budget subcommittees must review $35.8
million worth of proposed funding for AB
32 implementation.
Busy times call for careful scheduling,
and to help you stay on top of these and
other activities, we have provided you
with a regularly updated
Calendar page that consolidates
important climate change dates and
events in one convenient location. Each
calendar item is a link and can be
clicked on for further information
related to the event. For legislative
hearings (policy committees and budget
subcommittees) the link will take you to
the most current legislative Daily File.
Go to the "Committee Hearings" section
of the Daily File to find the details on
the appropriate hearing.
Note: ASM = Assembly; SEN = Senate; ARB
= Air Resources Board; CEC = California
Energy Commission; PUC = Public
Utilities Commission.
